LITERATURE ARTS
Taught the wrong way, English through literature arts can be the driest and most boring subject taught. Not at SFVA. Yes, a student is taught how to research, how to cite and most importantly how to write in preparation for college. Students learns these skills not only from their competent teachers, but from the great writers of the past and present. Dickens, Shakespeare, Austin, Cooper, Twain, Dahl, Swift, Crane and many others come to life on stage and screen as students study, analyze and learn to copy the greats' styles.
